The heartbeat of First Leesburg is to be a lighthouse to our community and a launching pad to the nations. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is literally the best news that man could receive, and as believers in Jesus it is our primary job to spread this message to anyone, anywhere – no matter what the cost.
When Jesus commissioned the disciples, He told them in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” In an effort to be obedient to this command, we at First Leesburg have sought to develop strategic partnerships in each of these four areas. To that end, we engage our Jerusalem through the ministries of the Christian Care Center right here in Leesburg. We seek to reach our Judea in partnerships throughout the United States. Our attempts to reach our Samaria is seen through our partnerships in Latin America. Our efforts to engage the remotest parts of the earth are carried out through our partnerships in East Asia and Southeast Asia. We must work diligently to complete this unfinished task given to us by the Lord, as there are so many who are waiting to hear the news of Jesus. Will you join us?
