First Youth

FBC Leesburg Youth Ministry, or First Youth, desires for every student to be known, loved, discipled, and sent. It is our heartbeat to see students in the Lake County area be transformed and renewed by the power of the Gospel. We strongly believe in discipleship, and that Christ did not simply call us to be “attenders” but rather disciples. At First Youth, we unapologetically push students to make their faith in Jesus their own.

Village Park Youth

Student Life Rec Camp (6th - 12th grades)

Student Life Camp is a Christ-centered camp for 6th-12th graders. It includes engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning through sound biblical teaching and Bible study, community in Life Groups, and fun at recreation!

Come ready to get crazy while competing for your Squad and growing closer to your group. Rec Camp is all about helping students connect with each other through team-building moments and intentional discipleship opportunities.

Cost: $320 per student or $650 per family

Just a side note for parents: Middle School and High School will be traveling together to camp. However, the two groups will be lodging separately, and activities such as church group time and rec will be done separately as well.

First Youth is divided into two separate ministries: Middle School and High School.

Wednesday Nights

Middle School (6th-8th grade)

Youth Game Room (B building, 2nd floor)

6:00-6:30 Teaching Time
6:30-6:45 Small Groups
6:45-7:00 Worship
7:00-7:30 Corporate Game Time
7:30-8:00 Gym Time

High School (9th-12th grade)

In a prayerful effort we have designed our Wednesday nights in such a way that it will allow for High Students to be intentionally discipled to become disciple makers.

1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the Month – Chapel
6:00-7:00 High School Worship
7:00-8:00 Gym Time

2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month – Off Campus in Downtown Leesburg Area
6:00-7:00 Discipleship
7:00-8:00 Back On Campus For Gym Time (Optional)

5th Wednesday of the Month – On Downtown Campus
“Squad Nights”
A fun interactive night that will allow for students to compete alongside their discipleship groups.
